The Benefits of Coaching and Psychotherapy
In coaching, you have a destination and need a plan to get there. Or… you want help clarifying your goal.
Working with a coach ensures that you stay on the path to your destination, tweaking your action plan and behaviors as needed.
Psychotherapy helps when the past seems to spill into the present and affects how you operate in your daily routine.
As your therapist, I will work with you to heal old wounds and help you obtain the ability to manage the feelings that once challenged you. You will learn to value yourself and feel more empowered.
How are Life Coaching and Psychotherapy different?
Life coaches cannot treat emotional disorders.
Coaching helps you get to the destination you choose by identifying a goal and creating an action plan to get there. Roadblocks are eliminated by responding with different behaviors to old patterns. Some clients have remarked that the insights, skills and new perceptions they have gained in coaching on their way to their goals, have been transformative.
Alternatively, if you’re finding that your past is intruding into your daily life and derailing you, psychotherapy can help. You learn tools that help you better manage your feelings, help you value yourself, and replace old reactions with more effective and efficient behaviors.
Life Coaching and Psychotherapy meet dissimilar but essential needs.
